I recently gifted myself a new tool, a large-format printer: The Canon Pixma Pro-200.

I'm really pleased with the results. I have been churning out 19"x13" prints and the only things I have struggled with are borders and darkness. The darkness issue was understanding how the printed page differs from a screen in how the colors are illuminated, and how my screen was too bright to represent the papaer. The Borders issue is understanding when a white border is appropriate, to understand the aesthetic of frames and how they relate to the subject. All in all this is a great tool for displaying my photography and managing prints.

I will post here my bike progression, stories of my bikes from my first to the present.

I'm going to guess this was a 1987 model. Here I am with my dog Wayne and the first real bike I ever got, the Novara Carema in pearl white with red graphics. This photo was taken when the bike was about 5 years old maybe and I'm in college, but I got the bike when I was "done growing" in high school. Thus began a lifetime affiliation with this tool of conveyance, the primary method of transportation beyond my feet.
