Well it's been more than a year without an update, sometimes that's how things go. Lots of stuff to add to the site. I'm kicking things off with a site-wide layout update, nothing has been untouched. It takes a long time to process what one is trying to do here. The purpose of this site is much clearer after sleeping on it for a year. Things will update with less friction going forward. Here's a pic of me finding the path forward. Not shown here is when snow covered up the trail but with a keen eye and following some tracks, we made it over the pass.

First time seeing aurora, was worth the wait.

3 months have passed and Spring happened. It began with a drive through the Painted Hills of central Oregon, followed by a bike tour of Orcas Island, concluding in a quick ride among the sagebrush on the Palouse to Cascades trail.

In the depths of winter I would advise anybody to pull up pictures and videos of a hot and bright place, like this beach, Kiahuna beach, Poipu Kauai, HI.

New Years 2024

It's been a whirlwind couple weeks but this is back on New Years eve where we sent the drone up and burned some wood.
